Practice Education
The ADS also offers in house Practice Educators to students from several different universities in the area. We believe that the best support for students comes from experienced practitioners within our specialist field and are therefore keen for our staff to obtain this qualification. At any one time approximately a third of our Social Work workforce are also Practice Educators and will become the key contact for both second and third year degree students on a rotating basis. Practice Educators tell us working closely with students is extremely rewarding and helps keeps their own knowledge current.
