Pension

We provide access to an enhanced pension for all employees.

The pension offer is open to all and is not subject to the minimum age restrictions.We also provide enhanced contributions, above the minimum required. The pension is,

  • Open to all ages
  • Contributions are,
    o Employer contribution = 6%
    o Employee contribution = 2%

Cost of Living

A salary uplift is considered each year by the Board.

The Board meet and consider an uplift accounting for both the cost of living and financial health of the organisation. In the previous 3 years the following uplifts have been awarded

  • 2022/23: 5%
  • 2021/22: 3%
  • 2020/21: 2%

Mileage Claims

We constantly review this to ensure we keep up with the change in the cost of fuel.

This is reviewed on an annual basis and the proposals are tabled for discussion at the Employee Forum. The discussions include any potential tax impacts for example through the P11D forms relating to benefits and the use of electric cars.

Free DBS Checks

For people who require a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) this is free.

If your role requires you to have a DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) check, this will be at nil cost for you. This includes the three-yearly DBS check required depending on your role with us.
